ASSISTANCE DOGS CHARITY DONATION
On Tuesday May 27th, Claire and her son's assistance dog, 'Gandon' , came back to visit the school. Both Confirmation and Communion classes were delighted to be able to present Claire with a cheque for €1,300 which the girls had donated to support the Assistance Dogs charity, (This charity is under the umbrella of the Irish Guide Dogs Association). Claire was delighted to accept the cheque on behalf of the charity. This particular charity is especially important to the school as many of the dogs it trains are used to support children with autism. 'Gandon' was treated like a true celebrity by the girls!

Rugby Blitz:
To mark the end of 6 weeks of Tag Rugby coaching, Stephen, our Leinster Rugby Coach organised a rugby blitz for the sixth classes. We enjoyed a beautiful sunny morning in Kilbogget Park on April 10th . There was good natured rivalry between the teams from both sixth classes. The coaches chose a student from Room 3 as the player of the day.
